Fisher has a bright future ahead of him, and we were lucky enough to pick his young talented brain.
Thank you, yes for a Young Artist Award for Best Web Performance and two for the Young Entertainer Awards, Best Web Performance and Best Supporting Actor in a TV movie or Mini Series. I won two out of the three; which were the YAA for Best Web Performance and Best Supporting Actor in a TV Movie or Mini Series for the YEA Awards.
How do you handle being nominated for multiple awards at such a young age? Does it overwhelm you at all?
These are awards for kid actors so it is more fun than stressful. It is great to get together and hang out with other kids in the industry. Being nominated or winning is a bonus!
Can you touch on your upcoming roles in “Kidnap” (alongside Halle Berry) and “The Tribes of Palos Verdes”(alongside Jennifer Garner)?
All I can say is “wow”! Booking two big feature films in a year was amazing. Getting to work with such big names in the industry was a dream come true. Both of them were so nice, you can just tell they are great moms!
Tell us a bit about the web series you co-host, “Between 2 Phat Kids”.
It is this crazy talk show that I host with Wyatt McClure. We have celebrity guests, some kids, some adults, lots of shenanigans! We are currently working on new episodes that will be out in June!
Was there a huge learning curve moving from Yakima, Washington to Hollywood?
Yes for sure. There is really nowhere else you can train and get everything Hollywood has to offer. There are some amazing teachers and coaches here.
You have a lot of roles under your belt in such a short time. Do you ever get overwhelmed?
No, because my mom always organizes my schedule and keeps things from getting crazy. She knows how much pressure I can handle so she walks me through everything and then we put our plan together. We are a really good team. She changed her entire life to help me on this journey. She always says that my life is much more exciting than hers anyway, lol. I think that is because I am her life. We have our TV shows we watch together and we have come up with a bucket list of the ones I would have so much fun being a character on…so far we have hit several of them….The Middle, The Goldbergs, Criminal Minds, and most recently The Librarians. I also, loved being on Crowded, but I filmed it before I watched it, because it was new.
What helps you get through the long days? Music, movies, or games?
Video games and YouTube are my favorite things. I am usually playing video games or binge watching YouTube when I am not doing school or acting.
