I’ve read and heard very good reviews about the festival
Will someone from your team be attending FirstGlance?
No.
What is something you feel is important for our readers to know about your film?
It’s a really low cost film. The two children are the sons of the director and writer and they are the main inspiration for the story.
What should viewers expect from your film?
The story happens in the 80’s and there are plenty of toys from this time. The neighborhood in which we shot won an architecture national prize in the 70’s and nowadays is identical as it was in the past.
Do you have any production stories our readers might enjoy?
There is a turtle in the film. Teo, the younger child, was afraid when he saw it during the shooting. I (the director) asked him what he was expecting since he was so impressed and he said that he thought he was going to see a man dressed as a turtle, not a real one. I thought he was a very cute
